Team Gogglehead/Goggleface is a group of humans and Digimon unique to the RPG canon.
Name
Out of Character
Caryl, player of Ryo and Molly, first coined the phrase "Camp Goggleface" to describe the group in an attempt to entice Infinity Blade to pick up a Tamer. The "Goggleface" was intended as an umbrella term to cover the entire group and not just those with goggles. Takato-mun objected to the name, and proposed "Camp Gogglehead/Goggleface" as a compromise. The term stuck and is still used out of character.
RPG Canon
Monodramon originally coined the term "Camp Gogglehead" on the spot as a way to describe their group of Tamers. Ryo refused to be labelled a gogglehead, so Monodramon's second attempt was "Camp Goggleface". Takato proposed a compromise in the form of "Camp Gogglehead/Goggleface", with the Gogglehead part referring to himself and Daisuke - those with goggles - and the Goggleface part meaning those without - Ryo and Molly. Daisuke correctly predicted that the term would become a running joke, and while "Camp" is now only used to refer to their campsites and "Team" is usually used to refer to the people and Digimon, it is still occasionally used in character, if mainly by Ryo.
Activity
The exact moment of Team Gogglehead/Goggleface's formation is debatable - when Ryo and Molly ran into Takato, or when the three of them adopted Daisuke? However, its main purpose so far has been to try and reunite those from the Digimon Tamers canon and to keep the group together as a safety net.
This plot is still on-going.
